Imago—Imagines—Imagination

Analytical psychology refers to Imago (Latin plural: Imagines) as subconscious visual memories that were formed in early childhood and that influence a person later in life. These images primarily relate to people. With innerwise, we developed a kind of virtual systemic constellation work over the last ten years which is referred to as innerwise Imago, recognizing and expanding this concept as created by its founding father Professor C.G. Jung.

“The spirit is the master, imagination the tool, and the body the plastic material.”
Paracelsus: De morbis invisibilis

While conducting virtual systemic constellation work, we move freely in time and space. We see rooms or spaces, energies, people and systems as constellations and images. Using the healing energies, we can easily transform and clear up these images.

Whenever I am in a confusing situation, I look at the related images inside myself or draw the situation. This makes visible all forces at work, the position of all people involved and other invisible influences. These drawings can be easily combined with the arm-length test:

Is the person here in the picture? Is anyone missing? How tall is the person? Is there something on this drawing that doesn’t belong there? . . .

innerwise Imago is highly effective process work that clients often perform themselves; innerwise and the therapist provide guidance to ensure that it goes smoothly and that the charges clear up in the end. This transforms the field and makes real changes possible in the lives of all involved.
